Regarding The Website

Q. You used to have a website powered by MkDocs Materials, why replace it with Hugo and Hextra?

A: Originally, I was considering re-opening the site with that engine but as MkDocs Material is being passed on to a new SSG called Zensical, it will take too long to setup the website.

Hugo and Hextra was chosen as a alternative because I think Hugo is mostly faster to setup and Hextra was the theme that somehow matches some of my branding aesthetics in a way, if assumed. The purpose was creating the website that is basically simple, clean, easy to navigate, and of course…fast!

Q. Will this site be mostly focused on the blog in the future?

A: No, the website will have more pages aside from the blog page. But since its launch, it will be stuck with only the blog page until I think of what to add on the website.

To add more pages, I need to carefully learn more documentation of both Hugo and Hextra, with some additional documentation from W3Schools in regards to HTML and CSS if needed.

Q. How often the site is updated?

A: Depending on the pushes I commit on GitHub as the website is powered by GitHub Pages. I may update the site to commit fixes or manage the website configuration as whole.

Regarding Our Content

Q. What is your stance on AI content?

LessAIMoreHuman

A: With all the respect, I am not anti-AI or such but I do know that most artists don’t tolerate AI-generated art that has been everywhere online. But to me, in order to ensure that all of my content is genuine, I always implement the badges from Not By AI and also follow the Less AI, More Human Creativity stance that I’ve designed. It’s a principle that to ensure that AI is respectfully used, I mainly use AI only for research, feedback, suggestions, and of course verification based on my behalf as a creator but I don’t use it to generate visuals and post them online as it can harm future artists for inspiration.

Q. Are you open for paid art commissions or such??

A: With all the respect, under some internal debate I faced, I made a decision to not do paid commissions. As an artist, commissions can take a lot of responsibility and time to reach a deadline. In the distant future, if even I did do paid commissions, it could have some advantages to earn some royalties of how much I charge for my art.

Since I don’t do paid commission, as an artist, I continue to have full creative control based on my belief as an artist and content creator.
